One Night in Paris

Shaun and I landed in Paris at 4pm after an overnight direct flight from San Francisco and we had a train booked for the following morning at 7am, so we literally had only 15 hours in Paris. Although we were exhausted (to say the least), we still wanted to make the most of our limited stay in the city of love!

We ventured out on foot under the cloudy sky with an occasional drizzly rain (cue: Midnight in Paris intro, "Can you picture how drop dead gorgeous this city is in the rain? Imagine this town in the '20s. Paris in the '20s, in the rain. The artists and writers!"). We explored the Latin Quartier and St. Michel, along the Île de la Cité walking adjacent to the Seine. We enjoyed escargot and saw just the tippy-top of the illuminated Eiffel Tower before succumbing to the jetlag and finally getting some rest. A quick pitstop, but I always love visiting Paris. Off to la côte Atlantique!
